Software Development Engineer

CSG is expanding our teams in Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSGs cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Software Development Engineer II with product development experience to join our growing teams.

We are looking for someone who has demonstrated their ability to build scalable maintainable enterprise-grade products as well as forward thinkers and technology enthusiasts who have a pragmatic approach to delivering high quality software.

What youll do:
You will report to the Manager of Software Development and be responsible for designing analyzing coding modifying and supporting CSGs Ascendon product are well versed in adopting new technology and architecture and like solving challenging problems and making your work environment enjoyable. You are someone who has demonstrated their ability to build scalable maintainable enterprise-grade products.

• You will build highly available scalable resilient and maintainable systems

• You will continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting automation or application packaging

• You will support the platform in customer-facing environments including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system

• You should be willing to grow and learn from those around you

• You will demonstrateastrongworkethicacommitmenttoexcellentcustomerserviceandteamwork

• You will perform unit tests code and debug thoroughly

• You will support system and solution integration testing user acceptance testing and resolve problems encountered

• You will participate in code reviews design reviews or other forms of team quality procedures.

• You should be able to collaborate effectively with other team members on the team

You should have:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or technically related field or equivalent professional experience

• 2-5 years of experience in software development and software support/maintenance

• Experience in C# .NET MS SQL Server Web Services REST and Core

• Work well within a team environment using Agile methods

• Some experience with Cloud Services such as Amazon Web Services

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes

• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in software development would be a plus

• Ability to support on-call rotation

• Ability to work in a CLT contract position

• Ability to read write speak and understand the English language in a business environment
