| Position Summary: | UDRI is looking for a Principal Autonomy Research Engineer to join the SPIRE group. You will contribute to a growing team responsible for cutting-edge technology and enhancing autonomy capabilities and effectiveness. An ideal candidate for this role will be excited at the prospect of implementing state of the art artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to reveal new insights and research new applications. They will have extensive professional software skills and experience that they can leverage toward improving AI/ML systems with a focus on multi-agents systems communication and cooperation. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | 1) Bachelors degree
2) 15 years professional experience in Software Development
3) Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen
4) Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance
5) Rigorous software development skills
6) Professional experience with multi-agent systems including communication/coordination between agents
7) Professional experience with natural language processing including knowledge base creating topic discovery and clustering
8) Understanding and experience with current Air Force R&D efforts in the area of Artificial Intelligence Autonomy and Machine Learning |

| Preferred Qualifications: | While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: 1. Masters degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science
2. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
3. Professional experience with:
