Job Summary
Inventory Controller - Onsite (Knoxville TN)
Location: Knoxville TN 37932
Type: Contract 40 hrs/week
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: 1st Shift Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM; OT every other Saturday
Openings: 1
Dress Code: Long pants close-toed shoes required (strict adherence)
Interview: 1 2 rounds onsite with lab tour
Job Overview
Seeking a meticulous Inventory Controller to manage shipping receiving storage and distribution of materials parts supplies and specimens within a cGMP plasma laboratory environment. The role combines physical and administrative tasks to ensure supply security compliance and efficient material flow.
Key Responsibilities

Perform physical handling of materials parts and specimens for shipping receiving storage and distribution

Use computerized systems to process document and track materials and specimens

Conduct troubleshooting and communication regarding shipment delays (inbound/outbound)

Organize inventory in designated storage areas; monitor stock levels and report shortages

Prepare shipments and maintain shipping records

Comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and proper biohazard disposal procedures

Maintain lab grounds and parking areas according to standards and SOPs
-
Perform assigned facility maintenance and repair duties
-
Adhere to all SOPs EHS regulations and maintain confidentiality

Lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physically active duties (walking standing bending)
Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic computer skills

Prior material handling or maintenance experience
