We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded leader to join our Commercial Performance team within the Sales Intelligence department at Labatt Breweries of Canada. Our team acts as a strategic business partner to Sales and Executive leadership teams. You will partner with leaders cross-functionally to translate performance insights into in-market actions plans ensuring we win in a competitive and dynamic marketplace.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the analysis of market trends competitive dynamics and commercial performance across categories channels and regions.
Analyzes impact of sales & marketing performance drivers: distribution displays features space price dynamics brand health media spend to develop insights & recommendations
Transforms insights into recommendations to through simple visual and action-oriented deliverables that drives common understanding and aligns stakeholders
Liaises regularly with key marketing sales and insights stakeholders
Understands competitive threats and results of actions in the marketplace
Job Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred; advanced degree an asset
Minimum 4 years in commercial strategy insights business performance or related analytical roles (preferably in FMCG CPG or beverage alcohol)
Consumer Packaged goods beer wine or spirits industry experience an asset
Works well independently with limited supervision and with tight timelines
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to engage executive audiences
Strong analytical toolkit with proficiency in data visualization and reporting (Power BI DAX an asset)
Advanced Excel a must have
Understanding of trade math (ROI margin markup days inventory)
Strong planning time management and organizational skills
Results Oriented Strong business acumen Strategic thinker
