Job Summary
Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Urgent Care
Location:San Antonio Texas
Schedule: Full-Time 4 Days/Week
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team to diagnose treat and manage a variety of acute and non-emergent medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care services for patients of all ages including evaluation diagnosis and treatment.
Perform procedures such as wound care suturing splinting and other minor interventions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs imaging etc.).
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record system accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
National certification (AANP ANCC or NCCPA).
Urgent Care Emergency Medicine or Family Practice experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting salary: $150000 annually
