This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are currently seeking a kind engaging and energetic respite provider for a sweet little boy who thrives outdoors and enjoys sensory activities. The family is hoping to find someone available to work a few hours in the afternoon between Monday and Thursday with flexible scheduling to be determined collaboratively between the family and provider. Respite likely to begin in his home until he is comfortable and gradually expand to include time in the providers home or out in the community. Respite to continue into the school year but the family is open to setting up a schedule directly with the provider. This young man is on the Autism spectrum and due to a development speech delay he will be utilizing an augmented communication device to help express his needs more clearly (no experience required just openness to learn).
Pay: $14.13/hour (after tax rate)
Location: Child resides in Menomonie WI - Care location TBD between family & provider
Schedule: 6 hours/week available. Schedule TBD between family & provider Flexible shifts (M-TH afternoons preferred)
