Seeking a full-time Primary Care APP in Raleigh NC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine patients perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data including health history and results of physical examination
• Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-ray electrocardiogram and laboratory tests; interpret test results for deviations from normal
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections immunizations suturing and wound care; manage infection
• Develop and implement patient management plans record progress notes and assist in provision of continuity of care
• Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens normal growth and development family planning emotional problems of daily living and health maintenance

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Physician Assistant: Completion of accredited PA program
• Nurse Practitioner: Completion of accredited NP program; Masters degree in Nursing
• 2 or more years related healthcare experience and/or training

Required Licensure Certification Registration

• Physician Assistant: Current NC medical license; certified by the NCCPA
• Nurse Practitioner: Current NC Board of Nursing RN and NP license; certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
• Current BLS certification
