The Department of General Services (DGS) Office of Fiscal Services is hiring for aController.DGS is a statewide service agency that supports the mission of state and local governments by delivering quality cost-effective timely safe and secure services for other state agencies local governments and citizens. DGS serves as the infrastructure for state government by providing laboratory testing engineering and architecture services real estate management centralized procurement services vehicle management and more.

As part of the Office of Fiscal Services theController supports this by leading and managing agency-level financial activities including financial reporting general accounting fixed asset accounting capital project accounting and grant accounting. The Controller is also responsible for overseeing the implementation and operation of procedures and systems that provide the agency the ability to comply with all financial requirements providing direct support to the Chief Financial Officer agency division directors program managers and staff and external stakeholders such as the Department of Accounts and Department of Planning & Budget.
