Job description
The responsibilities of the Connected Vehicle Architect include owning the design development and integration of onboard applications for collecting and sharing vehicle information with the cloud.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 12 years of programming experience in a professional environment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android Auto or Linux Auto
- Minimum of 5 years of experience of Vehicle onboard application architecture developing and integrating automotive applications with the onboard IVI architecture.
- Excellent Understanding of QNX/Linux Kernel Vehicle Abstraction layers.
- Good understanding of in vehicle communication architectures like CAN and Ethernet.
- Proficiency in Core Java/C Android using OOPS concept.
- Should understand the radio architecture well enough.
- Experience in developing Automotive HMI application on Linux/QNX kernel architecture using unity or similar framework.
- Understanding of Software driven architecture
