Job Description
Role: Mechanic
Location: Norwich - travel to other locations may be necessary
Hours: 40 hours per week
Must have the right to live & work in the UK
Job Purpose
Reporting to and working with the leading mechanic and certifier on the aircraft as allocated.
To support aircraft paint inputs/outputs/additional tasks at all paint locations as necessary.
Job Accountabilities
- Complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.
- Observe and adhere to the company Tooling Policy at all times.
- Maintain awareness and ensure best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the MOE.
- Ensure that they keep their personal work area hangar bays and facility clean and tidy at all times.
- Notify the company of any significant findings as soon as possible.
- Raise a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident.
- Hold a Mechanic Authorisation.
Training & Knowledge:
- You will need to demonstrate your technical experience as well as leadership behaviours be able to work on your own initiative and make timely decisions.
- Have the ability to interpret technical publications and make fact based decisions.
- You need to have a flexible approach show initiative and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Have a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning;
- High standard of English language (written and oral)
- High standard of computer literacy especially Microsoft Office Suite
