The eCommerce Home team are on the lookout for an eCommerce Business Manager to join and be at the forefront of our UK growth focusing on Home! This position is a 12 Month FTC based at Head Office in Leicestershireoffering a competitive salary range of 53000 - 67000 alongside great benefits!

The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on across Womenswear Menswear Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.

About the Role:

As a Business Manager in our UK eCommerce Trading team you will take full ownership of the Home product division - treating it like a business within a business. Reporting into the Head of eCommerce UK youll be the key stakeholder representing Home across the wider eCommerce department acting as the go-to expert and main point of contact for the Product team. Youll lead the charge on trading and marketing initiatives using your strong commercial and product knowledge to set strategic direction optimise performance and drive sales. This is a high-impact role where youll be responsible for the trading performance on the NEXT UK website while also managing and inspiring a team to hit key business KPIs and accelerate Homeware sales and growth across our digital platforms.

What else is involved

  • Key stakeholder presentations to senior business directors across the business where you will represent the eCommerce department
  • You set and drive the strategy for your product division - managing your team to achieve growth for your product area.
  • You are the key person accountable for trading your division. Therefore you should be an expert in product and key trends translating this into the customer journey online to drive sales.
  • You are responsible for the relationship between product teams and eCommerce. Keeping product teams updated with key online developments and maintaining a strong relationship with them.
  • You analyse key reports and trade your division across marketing search & navigation and product pages. Looking at key performance metrics user behaviour and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvements in the sales funnel. Provide weekly sales performance and in-week insights to maximise sales potential.
  • Come up with testing ideas and other data-driven approaches to refine and optimise the overall customer journey.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and e-commerce trends providing insights and recommendations for future possible enhancements to the website.
  • You should champion your product area requesting developments and improvements to site UX to support growth.
  • Collaborate with key teams across eCommerce ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page and have the same goals - setting the commercial priority where needed: including SEO Marketing Attribution Data UX Content

About You:

  • Experience of working in an Online Trade/eCommerce environment at a manager level.
  • Experience of having direct lines of report would be beneficial.
  • Creative and visual flair with an expert understanding of marketing and branding.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial sales trends.
  • Expert understanding of analytics user behaviour and ecommerce trends.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data identify trends and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and analytics tools.
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Keen interest in Fashion/Home
