Job Summary

WPS are seeking an experiencedContracts Managerto lead the delivery of ourresponsive repairsservice within thesocial housingsector. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing both thecontractand theoperational team ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the responsive repairs contract.
  • Lead and motivate a team of supervisors operatives and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety quality standards and contractual KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients residents and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor budgets forecasts and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the service.

Requirements

  • Current experience as a Contracts Managerin responsive repairs or a closely related field.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of social housing and the challenges of delivering repairs services.
  • Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
