SUDPt: $27.71-$35.75 Fully licensed: $32.31-$42.02 Role Overview: The SUDP(T) clinician at Recovery Place Kent Inpatient Services is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing Trauma-informed care that is recovery-oriented and person-centered. The clinician delivers SUD treatment services to ITA patients and evidence-based practices in accordance with ASAM criteria and Valley Cities policies and practices. The clinician provides SUD assessments individual and group treatment psychosocial education groups crisis services and relapse prevention along with case management services to patients who have a Substance Use Disorder diagnosis. The SUDP(T) is a member of a clinical team that ensures a strong recovery environment person-centered wellness and integrated care to meet the residents individual needs while assuring that appropriate treatment services are provided. The SUDP(T) works with program managers to assure quality clinical service and contract performance through direct clinical work. Key Responsibilities: - Provide daily individual sessions with patients attempting to engage patients in programming and discharge planning and linking patients to appropriate resources.
- Conduct group daily employing evidenced based practices and engaging patient and peer involvement and interaction.
- Complete ASAM placement criteria for each patient.
- Complete treatment plans and treatment plan updates on assigned patients.
- Attend daily Treatment Planning meetings.
- Work closely with inter-disciplinary team to align patient care.
- Attend CPI training and comply with training and certification requirements.
- Record patient notes daily recording date of session duration of session description of topic addressed and signature.
- Maintain patient files in accordance with organizational procedures and relevant laws and regulations.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in training as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What Were Looking For: Education: - Current certification by Washington State Department of Health as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPt)
- High School Diploma/GED required
Experience: Understanding of and familiarity with addiction withdrawal and treatment resources for recovery. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Maintain current certifications in first aid and CPR and provide evidence of TB testing at least annually.
- Ability to deal assertively and effectively with patient conflicts and conduct verbal de-escalation intervention.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and setting a positive example of behaviors for patients.
- Basic computer skills including Windows Word and Outlook and able to keyboard intermittently approximately 2 hours a day.
- Participate collaboratively and professionally in a team environment
- Maintain professional demeanor at all times with patients visitors other agency staff and community agency representatives.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information in accordance with 42 CFR 45 CFR RCW 70.96A and related patient health care laws and regulations.
