What Youll Bring:
Were looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our growing team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Day to Day Youll Be:
- Joining an established team responsible for our Web and batch tracing products.
- Collaborating closely with database and software engineers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs through both manual and automated testing.
- Participating in Agile development ceremonies such as planning task refinement and retrospectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to support effective communication and delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Track record years of relevant work experience in software testing area
- Knowledge of test automation techniques and tools (ideally reqnroll and/or selenium)
- Experience of using Microsoft SQL server
- Effective test design test planning and scheduling capability
- Web service and/or relational database testing experience
- Knowledge of source control
- Strong problem solving skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience of using Postman/Insomnia for API testing
- Experience of working in an Agile development team
- Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders including operational teams.
- Ability to take initiative for improvements identifying and mitigating risks
