JOB PURPOSE:
The Maintenance Technician supports the safe and efficient operation of the shelter facility. This role is responsible for general maintenance repairs and inspections to ensure the building grounds and equipment remain in good condition. The Technician helps maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED is required. Vocational/trade certificate a plus.
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years experience in general maintenance facilities or building operations. 1-3 years in a customer service focused environment. Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC and carpentry. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employers sole discretion.
LICENSES: Drivers License with clear record.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
WORK LOCATION: In-person
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
