We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to design develop and implement cutting-edge renewable energy systems including solar photovoltaic (PV) hydropower and energy storage solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize renewable energy systems (solar PV hydropower wind) using tools like AutoCAD PVsyst or MATLAB.
- Conduct site assessments feasibility studies and energy yield analyses to ensure project viability.
- Develop detailed project plans including system layouts material specifications and financial models.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g. ISO 14001 Green Building Index) and NETR standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI engineers for grid optimization and cybersecurity specialists for smart grid integration.
- Troubleshoot and innovate solutions for energy efficiency and storage.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to support project funding and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Material Science Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Renewable Energy
- 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy engineering with expertise in solar PV hydropower or energy storage systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD PVsyst MATLAB) and basic programming (e.g. Python for data analysis).
- Strong understanding of sustainable materials and grid integration principles.
- Familiarity with Malaysias renewable energy policies (e.g. LSS NETR) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical communication and project management skills.
