Newlyn School are looking for a warm and positive teaching assistant to join our team who has a calm and nurturing yet aspirational mindset. We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant who has experience in supporting high quality teaching and learning opportunities across Early Years and KS1 with a particular interest in making meaningful learning opportunities to ensure all children can engage and progress irrespective of their starting points or individualised needs. Having an understanding of how to engage with children who require intervention and support is essential in this role; with a view to promoting the value that targeted learning opportunities can play in building knowledge and masterful learners; growing in confidence day by day.
You will have a child-centered approach and will provide a creative inclusive and aspirational lessons to enrich our school curriculum which inspires and motivates children and supports high quality teaching and learning both indoors and outside the classroom. We are seeking a warm positive and enthusiastic person to join our team that is forward thinking and has a real passion for championing all children irrespective of their starting abilities. A commitment to support the schools vision for enrichment in personal development opportunities is key recognising that in order to create well rounded children we focus collectively on the academic social emotional and holistic development simultaneously.
