Job Summary
Location: Lewiston Maine
Schedule: Full-Time or Flexible
Setting: Primarily school-based (K6) with opportunities in outpatient and community settings
About the Role
We are seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide therapy services for elementary school students (grades K6). This role offers flexibility to follow a traditional school-year schedule with summers off or to work year-round with diverse caseload options.
Responsibilities
Deliver speech and language therapy to children in school outpatient or community settings.
Conduct screenings evaluations direct therapy and caregiver instruction.
Collaborate with teachers parents and healthcare providers to support communication and educational goals.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with measurable outcomes.
Document progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
Support family involvement to reinforce therapy strategies outside of sessions.
Requirements
Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship in progress
Active or eligible Maine SLP license
Current CPR certification
Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
