Job Summary:
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who will float between units and provide treatment to approximately 6-8 patients per day. The role requires an independent and quick-learning individual with acute care and IPR experience and preferably MBS and FEES training.

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services in acute care and IPR settings.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) if trained.
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Acute care experience.
- Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) training.
- Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) training.
Special Considerations:
- The position requires floating between units.
- Weekend work is required with rotation among 2-3 SLPs.
- On-call is not required.
Scheduling:
- Specific work schedule and shift type are not provided.
- Block schedules are not required.
