Urgent Need Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Pay: 65-70.00 Hour
Schedule:
MondayFriday 8 AM5 PM No weekends
Typically 40 hrs/week; may be sent home if work is completed early.
No overtime.
Position Summary:
The SLP evaluates and treats residents/patients with speech language swallowing hearing and cognitive disorders in accordance with physician orders and state/federal guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Evaluate residents/patients and develop individualized care plans.
Provide direct treatment based on physician-directed plans of care.
Administer and interpret speech language and hearing assessments.
Educate residents/patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a skilled nursing/sub-acute setting.
Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain consistent attendance.
Other Duties:
Track progress update goals and communicate with families/guardians.
Complete evaluations daily notes and weekly summaries.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Active Arizona SLP license.
