RCM Specialist

Location: Remote (PH)
Compensation: $1300 $1700 USD/month

Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST (Monday to Friday)(Full-time MondayFriday)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced RCM Specialist to support the credentialing billing and accounts receivable (AR) processes for our dental practice. This role requires strong technical knowledge of dental billing systems insurance processes and claim management. You will work closely with the Swish Dental team to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations and a high standard of accuracy compliance and patient satisfaction.

Credentialing

• Complete and process provider applications.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of provider data in the database.
• Communicate effectively with the Swish team throughout the credentialing process.
• Proactively follow up on application statuses and missing information.
  

Billing and AR

• Review all aspects of the revenue cycle process including insurance verification claims submission payment posting and AR follow-up.
• Utilize practice management software to enter data prepare reports and ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve denied delayed or underpaid claims.
• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Analyze claim denials and communicate root causes to the Swish team.
• Research and gather missing information needed for claim processing.
• Collaborate with dental providers and staff to gather necessary documentation.
• Handle appeals for denied claims with proper documentation.
• Track claim progress and provide proactive updates to the team.
• Maintain detailed records of all follow-up activities and claim outcomes.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dental billing and revenue cycle management.
• Proficiency with dental billing software (OpenDental Dentrix Eaglesoft) and dental coding (CPT ICD-10).
• Strong understanding of insurance billing processes and dental insurance plans.
• 13 years of experience in the same role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical skills and/or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Positive patient and professional demeanor

• May be required to sit or stand for long periods.

• May be in a studio environment which can be noisy/distracting.
