The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure Academic Clinician must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and be board-certified or board-eligible upon completion of both an ACGME-accredited residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic -career individuals are encouraged to apply. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include didactics and bedside dermatologic surgery instruction to our world-class residents fellows and medical students. We seek enthusiastic candidates who are dedicated to teaching and mentoring.
Clinical responsibilities may include Mohs and reconstructive surgery in our ambulatory practices in Philadelphia or Penn Medicine Radnor. Candidates will benefit from a busy surgical practice and an extensive infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities and a large support staff of nurses and histotechnicians. Our Mohs surgeons use immunostains for melanoma and other rare tumors and we mentor candidates to develop these skills. We seek candidates who demonstrate excellent clinical judgement professionalism and commitment to our team.
Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in Mohs surgery and reconstruction and have a nationally or internationally recognized career in academic dermatologic surgery.
