OUR MISSION
The Fifth Louisiana Levee District primary purpose of maintaining the levees along theMississippi River.The district includes portions of East Carroll Madison Tensas and Concordia Parishes. The total length of the levee system is 355 miles 213.8 miles of mainline levee and 93.1 miles of Red River backwater levee 14.9 miles of back line levees and approximately 6.3 miles of spur levees. The height and width of the Mississippi River Levee and Berm system within the Fifth Louisiana Levee District makes it the largest Levee District in the state in total number of surface acres to maintain.
About this position
The Administrative Coordinator 4 is a valuable part of the Fifth Louisiana Levee District in that they will be responsible for the Human Resource of all employees and Board of Commissioners of our District along with all the clerical duties of the office. Also keeping the Land Leases Reimbursements of State (DOTD) and the Board of Commissions website up to date.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Human Resources: Process all Civil Service Reports Request fill out new employee application and updates adjustment to pay and employee related expenses update Board and Commissions Website keep commissioners up to date on required training keeping employees up to date on required CPTP training prepare PES forms and maintain monthly attendance and files
- Clerical: Receive and code invoices for payables prepares and provide itemized list for State (DOTD) reimbursements for Projects Expenses prepare monthly claims reports assist Superintendent of Operations with reports keep Land Leases up to date process Bi-weekly and Quarterly Payroll Reports assist with yearly audit information
- Make reservations for Board member for meetings mail out monthly Agendas for Board Meetings transmit monthly Board meeting minutes to Newpapers and State Library for Publication
