About the Role
Are you passionate about creating safe compliant and efficient workplaces Join7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp.as aSafety & Compliance Officerand play a key role in ensuring the health safety and compliance of our Calgary Distribution Center.
Youll work closely with our Regional Warehouse Manager and leadership team to maintain and improve programs related toOccupational Health & Safety (OHS) Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Transportation Safety. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact on workplace safety and operational excellence.
What Youll Do
As a Safety & Compliance Officer you will:
- Lead Safety Initiatives Develop and implement proactive strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Ensure Compliance Oversee adherence to OHS GDP and transportation regulations.
- Conduct Audits & Inspections Perform monthly safety inspections COR audits and GDP checks.
- Investigate & Report Manage incident investigations WCB claims and compliance documentation.
- Train & Support Teams Deliver safety and food safety training and support drivers with log compliance.
What Were Looking For
- Experience:Background in Safety GDP and/or Transportation compliance.
- Education:OHS Certification is a strong asset.
- Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication (verbal & written). Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Mindset:Solution-oriented proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
