Position Summary
The Demand Planning Intern role is responsible to aid the Demand Planning team on the forecasting and collaborative demand planning process supporting FMCs LATAM business for the planning time horizon of 36 months. This position assembles and assesses key inputs (sales history and trends open orders sales and marketing estimates previous forecasts new product launches) and performs data-driven analysis to develop an accurate operational demand plan that ensures high service levels and efficient inventory management. You will work within the Supply Chain Planning Team and will be responsible for supporting the synchronized forecasting activities focusing on our business goals.
The Role
Understanding of demand planning concepts like seasonality trends and historical analysis
Assist in collecting and analyzing sales data to support demand forecasts
Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
Participate in meetings and contribute to planning discussions
Exposure to systems like SAP and IBP or other demand planning software is a plus
Ideal Candidate
BA/BS in business supply chain engineering or technical field (graduation from Dec 26 to July-27)
Computer literate and strong Microsoft Office knowledge.
Ability to work with large datasets identify trends and generate insights.
Ability to summarize and visualize data in dashboards PowerPoint or reporting tools.
Willingness to ask questions take initiative and suggest improvements.
Advanced English.
