Job Description
Job Duties
Campaign Strategy Planning and Content Development (30%)
Lead the development of long-term nurture strategies and communication frameworks that align with recruitment and enrollment goals.
Collaborate with recruitment admissions and student services to identify key communication milestones across the student lifecycle.
Write edit and design engaging email content that aligns with brand standards and resonates with prospective students.
Integrate both email and SMS into multi-channel campaigns that deliver timely relevant and personalized messages.
Maintain a campaign calendar that coordinates strategic nurture flows with short-term deadlines events and announcements.
Recommend innovative approaches for personalization and engagement.
Campaign Setup and Execution (30%)
Build design schedule and monitor campaigns within the universitys CRM and digital communication platforms.
Configure automation logic triggers and workflows that move students through the inquiry-to-enrollment pipeline.
Ensure communications meet brand accessibility and compliance standards.
Partner with technical teams or external vendors as needed to troubleshoot and enhance campaign functionality.
Performance Analysis and Optimization (15%)
Track and analyze campaign results including open rates click-through rates SMS responses conversions and unsubscribe activity.
Conduct A/B testing to refine content subject lines designs and timing.
Use data insights to recommend adjustments that improve campaign efficiency and enrollment outcomes.
Process Improvement and Workflow Management (10%)
Develop standardized processes templates and checklists for campaign execution.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and leverage automation for efficiency.
Document best practices to ensure scalability and consistency across programs.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication (10%)
Serve as a key liaison with recruitment admissions student services and IT to align strategies and communication needs.
Lead regular planning sessions to ensure campaign activities are coordinated and on schedule.
Provide clear communication about campaign progress outcomes and areas for improvement.
Compliance andCampaignReporting (5%)
Ensure all communications comply with federal and institutional regulations (FERPA CAN-SPAM ADA).
Support colleagues with training on communication best practices and system capabilities.
Provide campaign performance reports and insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field required.
2-4years of experience developing writing and designing digital campaigns (email SMS) preferably in higher education or a mission-driven setting.
Strong understanding of lifecycle communications campaign strategy and enrollment-focused messaging.
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Slate Salesforce) and digital communication tools.
Skilled in writing email design campaign strategy project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication skills with attention to clarity tone and student engagement.
Analytical thinker who can use data to inform decisions and improve performance.
Knowledge of compliance accessibility and data privacy standards for digital communications.
