The Boeing CompanyThe Government Services Asia Pacific Leadership Team is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Northeast & Southeast Asia (NESEA) programs. The role will be based fully onsite leading teams across the US and Asia. Position can be located in either St. Louis MO Seattle WA Mesa AZ or Ridley Park PA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
This position has profit & loss responsibility for Government Services programs in the region and leads a team of professionals in the U.S and Asia.
Deliver improved customer readiness in line with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP); strategically position the business for increased growth across the region; and help develop our team of program managers and functional partners.
Work closely with the leader of Boeing Japan K.K. (BJKK) as we work to build our Government Services capability and team in as a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership team
Leads the growth and management of teams in their large US/Asia portfolio for execution of engineering maintenance product support and governance of the sustainment and training programs.
The role will require both domestic and international travel and operate with flexibility to manage schedules across multiple time zones and with a geographically dispersed team.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide strategic direction to multi-disciplinary teams to deliver business outcomes within defined timeframes.
Demonstrate ability in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and customers across cultural and geographic boundaries.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and achieve change through collaboration negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Extensive experience managing budget and schedule baselines including application of the Earned Value Management System.
Deep experience with Risk Issue and Opportunity (RIO) Management principles and associated governance frameworks to support program execution. University education in project management business engineering maintenance or a related field with relevant industry experience.
Extensive experience executing programs in both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contexts.
University education in project management business engineering maintenance or a related field with relevant industry experience.
