Under broad supervision performs the billing process for public health services including processing claims and payments from Medicaid Medicare and third- party payers analyzing financial data reconciling accounts and conducting quality assurance audits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of supervisory; or one (1) year of job-related experience at the lower level Billing Spec 2 (FIP071) or position equivalent. Additional Information

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree diploma licensure etc.
The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
