CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of an organizations IT department ensuring efficient and reliable IT services. This role involves managing IT staff implementing and maintaining IT systems managing budgets and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

This position is located in our Arlington VA office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Operations Manager will serve as the leader responsible for the execution of Task 2 Systems Interoperability Test Operations Maintenance and Sustainment Support (System Sustainment and Maintenance Support) and (On-Site Technical and Administrative Support). Reporting directly to the Program Manager The Operations Manager will:
1. Lead all sustainment maintenance interoperability and operational support activities to ensure consistent reliable and secure mission performance of the MARS enterprise.
2. Oversee delivery analysis and monitoring of real-time operations data ensuring accurate reporting through the Operations Dashboard and providing actionable insight to DIA leadership Task 3 teams and external stakeholders.
3. Direct and coordinate Tier 0 through Tier 3 support ensuring seamless escalation management efficient ticket resolution and compliance with DoD/IC mission requirements.
4. Ensure implementation of upgrades patches troubleshooting and systems assurance in accordance with DIA and DoD/IC security compliance standards.
5. Provide oversight for system interoperability testing readiness reporting and operational demonstration activities.
6. Coordinate closely with Task 3 key personnel (Requirements Management SE&I Application/Security Engineering Functional/User Testing) to ensure unified operations and sustainment integrated with system engineering and modernization initiatives.
7. Serve as the principal interface with DIA operations teams government stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure collaboration accountability and mission-focused outcomes.
8. Drive efficiency and resilience by leveraging ITIL-aligned service management practices automation and performance monitoring to proactively mitigate risk reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
9. Maintain compliance with all government-mandated processes procedures and reporting requirements while seeking opportunities to reduce cost and enhance serv

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering Cybersecurity or a related field or equivalent work experience.
ITIL Intermediate Service Operations certification.
CISSP certification for information assurance and cybersecurity alignment.
years of progressive experience leading operations sustainment and mission support in DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
Proven experience managing Tier 03 IT service delivery in a 24x7x365 mission-critical environment.
Demonstrated leadership in coordinating with government stakeholders contractors and vendors on enterprise sustainment and support programs.
Strong knowledge of DoD/IC compliance frameworks systems interoperability and operations readiness reporting.
Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms for ticketing escalation and operations dashboards.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Military or Intelligence Community operational leadership background with direct experience managing joint multi-agency or coalition operations support environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams implement automation and observability practices and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99200.00 - $214800.00.
