About Team:

The Procurement and Supply Chain team plays a critical role in supporting both corporate and laboratory operations by ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services to internal stakeholders. Our department also extends procurement support to regional offices in Malaysia Korea and India enabling seamless cross-border operations and vendor management. Through efficient procurement processes and collaborative partnerships we contribute to operational excellence across the region.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• This internship offers a unique opportunity for a Supply Chain Management student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic regional biopharmaceutical environment. The intern will be exposed to end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing procurement and invoicing.

• Assist in daily supply chain operations including inventory tracking order processing and vendor coordination.

• Support procurement activities such as new vendor setup/updates reviewing quotations approving requisitions generate report for procurement analysis.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and payment issues with vendors.

• Participate in theUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)for the upcomingOracle Cloud Fusionnew system implementation.

• Learn explore and developAI/Copilot promptsto enhance procurement efficiency and automation.

• Develop problem-solving skills in operational and financial contexts.

• Learn how AI tools can be applied to streamline procurement workflows.

Education/Qualifications/Skills

• Working towards bachelors degree in supply chain management

• Knowledge and understanding of procurement and customer service.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Bi

• Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.

• Preference will be given to credit-bearing internship candidates who are able to commit to a minimum duration of 22 weeks.
