Job Title: Social Worker - Looked After Children

Pay Rate: 33.30 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its clients Looked After Children team at Solihull.
What will your responsibilities be
- Our Children in Care service supports children who are in the care of the local authority after a final care order has been granted. We work with young people between the ages of 0-18 years old. We work hard to ensure that children and young people have the right plan in place for them for example this might include living within their relational network with foster carers or in childrens residential care.
- We work hard in Solihull to ensure that only the children who need to be in local authority care are in care we revisit family routinely to see if they have made changes to enable them to care for their children.
- Social workers in our service will be skilled at engaging with children and young people in creative ways ensuring that their voice wishes and aspirations are evidenced and inform the care planning process have an understanding of risk to children and young people in care and have strong assessment analysis and planning skills. We complete court work around discharges of care order and progression of placement and adoption orders and experience in this area will be advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
