Two Rivers Medical Centrelocated in Ipswichis looking to recruit a trainee nurse associateto support our clinical nursing team and improve our patient services within our practice. This role is offeredon afull-time basis.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Carry out basic observations (blood pressure pulse temperature oxygen saturation height weight BMI)
- Undertake phlebotomy ECGs and wound care (following training and competency assessment)
- Support chronic disease management clinic (e.g. diabetes asthma and hypertension) under supervision
- Administer vaccinations and immunisations (once trained and assessed as competent)
- Provide support with NHS Health Checks and Health promotion activities
- Ensure Infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times
