Overview:PraescientAnalytics is seeking aSenior Threat Analystto provide proactive threat monitoring and advanced intelligence support to protect DHS personnel facilities and operations. This role requires deep expertise in protective intelligence and the ability to work flexibly across analytic tiers reinforcing staff during surge periods and responding to high-priority events.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct real-time monitoring and analysis of open web social media and dark web sources to identify threats.
Assess individuals and groups for indicators of violence intent and capability.
Leverage geospatial monitoring facial recognition and AI-enabled OSINT tools for risk analysis.
Provide timely alerts daily/weekly/monthly reporting and ad hoc intelligence assessments.
Support continuity of operations by balancing workload across analytic tiers and surging during critical events.
Collaborate with government and law enforcement partners to ensure actionable threat awareness.
Required Qualifications:
ActiveTop Secret clearance.
810 yearsof experience in force protection protective intelligence or law enforcement threat analysis.
- Prior experience with i2 Analyst Notebook Babel Street or Palantir.
Preferred Background:
Prior experience with DHS USMS U.S. Secret Service or military counterintelligence/protective services.
Familiarity with federal security policies inter-agency coordination and protective operations.
Preferred Education & Certifications:
Bachelors degree in intelligence studies criminal justice homeland security or related field (Masters preferred).
Professional certifications such as GIAC (SANS) CEH CISSP or similar.
Training in geospatial analysis facial recognition or dark web exploitation tools.
