ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Manager to become a key member of HUBs Enterprise Strategy and Technology Planning function. Working within this team and cross-functionally the Manager will help to develop and advance key enterprise and technology strategy addition this individual will be responsible for supporting key aspects of HUBs strategic planning including framing and managing strategy initiatives from discovery work through strategic design working cross-functionally to align goals and objectives and supporting overall enterprise objectives.

We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of corporate strategy planning processes and business models who is looking to join a fast-growing organization leveraging technology and digital capabilities to transform insurance and risk management solutions. The ideal individual will be a self-starter with a strong customer-focused mentality who seeks to understand stakeholder needs and work collaboratively across the enterprise to proactively meet those needs.

In This Role Youll Get To:

  • Engage in strategy design and development for key enterprise initiatives
  • Drive forward the portfolio of Enterprise Strategy initiatives for HUB
  • Identify and address barriers to accelerating initiatives and opportunities to enhance execution effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage and advance enterprise and related initiatives in support of our business partners
  • Ensure connectivity and effective communications among shared service and business partners
  • Identify opportunities to enhance offerings through best practices and external trends

We Are Looking for Someone with Following Competencies:

  • Strategic Thinking Lead the development of actionable strategies that drive business growth and long-term value; analyze market dynamics competitive forces and internal capabilities to identify opportunities and risks
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Guide data analysis financial modeling and scenario planning; distill key insights from large key data sets and translate them into solutions for critical business challenges
  • Communication & Influence Communicate complex strategic concepts with clarity; build consensus among diverse stakeholders and influence senior leadership to secure alignment and commitment to initiatives
  • Project Management & Execution Manage multiple projects with defined deliverables and timelines; delegate effectively monitor progress and mitigate risks to ensure execution excellence
  • Business Acumen Align strategic initiatives with financial targets performance metrics and the companys overall value proposition; demonstrate a strong understanding of business operations and industry context
  • Adaptability & Innovation Anticipate and respond to evolving business needs with agility; encourage creative problem-solving experimentation and continuous improvement within the team
  • Collaboration & Teamwork Foster a collaborative culture that promotes knowledge-sharing and strong relationships across functions; drive alignment to achieve common objectives
  • Leadership & Development Mentor and develop junior team members; provide coaching constructive feedback and create opportunities for professional growth within the team
  • Execution Focus Translate strategy into actionable plans ensuring accountability for results and balancing rigorous analysis with timely delivery
  • Stakeholder Engagement Manage and align expectations across stakeholder groups; build trust and resolve conflicts to ensure successful execution of enterprise initiatives

Required Experience:

  • Must have 5-10 years of experience including management consulting corporate planning strategic operations and/or corporate strategy experience
  • Experience working within the financial services sector; insurance industry experience preferred (e.g. carrier broker intermediary)
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA degree a plus

This position reports into Chicago and will be a hybrid-based working model.
