Position Description: The Medical College of Wisconsinand theDepartment of Surgery Division of Transplant Surgeryare seeking aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join the Solid OrganTransplant Surgery service located inMilwaukee WIatFroedtert Hospital. The Division of Transplant Surgery provides abdominal organ transplantation at Froedtert Hospital and Childrens Wisconsin. The division provides general surgical services for patients with end-stage organ failure. The ongoing goals of the division are to provide state-of-the-art transplant-related services laboratory and clinical research and teaching of residents and students. TheAdvanced Practice Provider(APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration patient care patient safety research quality improvement and teaching. TheIdeal Candidateis looking to begin or grow their career within a inpatient acute care and critical care setting who desires to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to providing direct patient care to patients within the inpatient and critical care setting.
