The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner social worker or other health care professional. Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent requiredComply with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicableTB questionnaire PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
