CGI is seeking a Senior EDI Developer who is highly motivated and will have an opportunity to work with top Healthcare company and also an Edifecs/EDI Specialist to design develop and support healthcare EDI solutions.
The role involves implementing HIPAA transaction sets (/271 etc.) configuring trading partners troubleshooting transaction issues and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves working closely with business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions mentor junior developers and ensure best practices in architecture integration and performance.
This position can be located in Raleigh NC Hartford CT or Lafayette LA

Responsibilities:
Design develop and support EDI solutions using Edifecs platform (XEngine SpecBuilder XEServer TPM etc.).
Implement and maintain HIPAA transaction sets (/271 276/277 278) for healthcare payers and providers.
Collaborate with business analysts and clients to gather EDI/healthcare integration requirements.
Configure and maintain trading partner setups and ensure accurate data exchange.
Troubleshoot analyze and resolve EDI transaction errors and coordinate fixes with partners.
Perform map development validation and testing using Edifecs tools.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA X12 and industry standards.
Monitor EDI processes and provide production support for timely data transmission.
Work with integration layers (REST/SOAP MQ APIs SFTP etc.) for end-to-end solutions.
Document EDI processes mappings partner configurations and system changes.
Support deployment activities and contribute to DevOps/automation pipelines.
Flexible and quick to react to Level 3 support and have good decision making skill to prioritize the issues/requests
Work collaboratively with QE Solution Architects and Business Analysts.
Creating real-time monitoring metrics and alerts across all applications
Participate in production deployment and planning activities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev test and production environments

At least 8 years of relevant experience in the must have skills:
Candidate should be very familiar with advanced concepts and have relevant hands-on experience in many of the following areas to be a successful contributor on the team:
Must Have:
Strong hands-on experience with Edifecs tools (XEngine SpecBuilder TPM XEServer).
In-depth knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions (/271 276/277 278).
Experience with EDI mapping validation and compliance testing.
Knowledge of databases (MS SQL/PostgreSQL) for EDI data storage and retrieval.
Strong debugging support and performance tuning skills.
Familiarity with APIs MQ SFTP and web services for data exchange.
Preferred to have:
Healthcare payer/provider domain experience required.
Understanding of claims enrollment eligibility benefits and billing workflows.
Cloud deployment experience (AWS) Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools (Git Jenkins etc.).
Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79300.00 - $214800.00.
