Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster.

Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver better trained sailors to the front line faster.

This role is an essential member of the Royal Navys Apprenticeship team at RNAS Yeovilton. You will ensure key administrative and organisational tasks are completed to support the Apprentices with their learning.

This is a part time role working 24 hours a week days/hours worked can be flexible.

Due to the nature of this role you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Job Description:

What youll be doing:
  • Updating and managing Apprenticeship learner forms files and documents.
  • Producing and collating apprenticeship enrolment documentation and process in a timely manner ensuring they meet compliance requirements.
  • Uploading certificates and documents to our management information system.
  • Answering queries resolving issues and supporting the wider team with enrolments and inductions and reviews if required.
  • Inputting and updating learner information to the relevant Management Information System awarding body or system.

  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • excellent communication skills both vernal and written

Desirable skills:

  • Military knowledge would be an advantage.

About Selborne

Selborne is a wide scale 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.
