Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors Degree or higher in Epidemiology Biostatistics Health/Social Science or a directly related field AND
Two (2) years of assessment planning evaluation survey methodology or directly related experience is required.
-OR-
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.

*Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States territories and Canada must be credentialed by the World Education Services (WES) Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES) member organization.
Knowledge of microbiology infectious disease epidemiology and basic statistics.
Knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite Excel and Access.
Knowledge of Statistical Analysis System Software.
Skill in written and verbal communication.
Ability to work with partnering agencies on data retrieval garnered from the Bureau/Departments digital case management system.
Ability to provide technical assistance in the development of data collection and analysis of health status and service utilization.
Ability to function in highly emotional and stressful situations
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Assist in the development maintenance and analyses of vital statistics health indicators risk factors and service utilization data using Statistical Analysis System Software Suite (SAS) Excel and other analytical products. Provide partnering agencies with death data retrieval garnered from the Bureau/Departments digital case management system and any necessary death-related statistical analyses examined and requested by County facilities. Participate with outside agencies in the identification of behaviors associated with fatalities. Consult other staff and leadership for more complex issues and challenges.
