Job Description

The University of Chicagos Department of Medicine Section of Hematology/Oncology and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center seek full-time faculty members at any rank on the School of Medicine track who specialize in breast cancer treatment. Appointees will have regular clinic sessions at our Hyde Park campus and possible network locations and attend inpatient services. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students as well as clinical research that may involve therapeutic and non-therapeutic interventions and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. For information on benefits please consult the University of Chicago Benefits Guide: to the start of employment qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and State of Indiana and 3) be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology.
