Based in our Shakopee MN location as a Test Engineer you will design and implement software test systems to verify and validate world-class safety-critical measurement & analytical instrumentation that integrates with industrial automation equipment.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
- Participate in reviews of product requirements test designs and implementations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
- Provide analysis for change requests considering the impact to product testing and schedule
- Support manufacturing of test systems by working with global manufacturing troubleshooting issues and deploying/maintaining test stations
- Create hardware that is robust with simple and functional user interfaces
- Develop & maintain supporting documentation (service manual troubleshooting guide etc.)
- Provide technical support for test stations

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with related technologies and techniques (Microsoft Visual Studio C# .NET application development object-oriented design principles; SQL JavaScript requirements-based and gray box testing)
- Interest and experience working with test systems
