DescriptionThe Owner Information Coordinator reports to the North American Owner Information Supervisor. The Owner Information Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the on-time development and delivery of accurate and understandable owner information (print and digital owners manuals supplements and other content) for assigned North American Ford and Lincoln vehicle programs.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- You will engage in global projects and work with colleagues from all over the world
- You will manage your own time and priorities to meet objectives and report status during regular team meetings
- Manage the Tier 1 and Tier 2 process for development release and delivery of in-vehicle Owner Information Kits to meet System Fill in-plant and all SYNC in-vehicle milestones from initial OKTB timing through Post OKTB OTA deliverables.
- Champion the processes and systems to support the development of Owner Information w/a global mindset.
- Act as Vehicle Program Team and Readiness Team liaison for the Owner Information development process.
- Program Manage w/the Content Development Supplier change management requests and the review and sign off process with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Participate in Global Authoring Consistency Global Outline and Terminology Forums. Play a key role in all governance type forums for Odyssey R&SO SYNC and Regulations. Additionally represent the Owner Info Team and speak to all deliverables in Program PSTs Change Control and overall Program and/or Launch Meetings.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Owner Information through existing processes continuous improvement practices and comprehensive collaboration with the Vehicle Programs Product Development engineering resources Marketing SYNC ASO and OGC.
- Support overall forward model workload forecasting and cost estimating including translation and LVEA global development via FIRs WERS and FEDE BOM w/Production Purchasing.
- Support the sections Quality Operating System (QOS) and Policy Deployment initiatives
- Issue Owner Guide Development Process Compliance Demonstration Plans and Reports (CDP&R).
- Support Purchasing processes for Owner Information as required.
Qualifications- Fluent in English (written and spoken).

- Knowledge of various Ford software applications (PTS iPDL GPDS FEDE FEDE BOM Global 8D Odyssey XMetaL etc.) training provided

- Strong Project Management skills dealing with multiple concurrent global launches
- Confident communicator and able to work well in a team both at a local and global level but equally focused on own work assignments
- Demonstrated decision-making abilities w/the ability to lead and facilitate to resolution
- Ford product knowledge
