CUSTODIAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR12 Month UnaffiliatedSALARY RANGE: $85000-$95000 (commensurate with experience)ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:Directly responsible to the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations. Collaborates with and assists the Building Maintenance and Facilities :To supervise and coordinate the custodial operations services and activities at all the District schools and facilities; to supervise train and oversee custodial staff at various District sites; and to do related work as :Minimum five years of work experience in performing custodial work in industrial or commercial organizations or other relevant at least five years of supervising or providing lead direction for other of a valid and appropriate Massachusetts Drivers to communicate effectivelyAbility to use work order and project management computer RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Provides supervision training evaluation and work direction for custodial staff throughout the and implements programs designed to ensure completion of work within standardized levels of cleanliness appearance and school inspections and work assignments and reassignments recommending action and changes as completed work for compliance with instructions and established in the interview and selection process for custodial new materials equipment and products used in the maintenance of school custodial supplies and maintains a sufficient special assignments as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and assigned facilities and grounds for vandalism damage and sanitary and safety hazards reporting hazards to an appropriate authority and in the development of the Districts contingency plans and provides emergency support as collaboratively with the Building Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor the City Board of Health and reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and to work flexible hours including on-call shifts to support District needs and ensure continuous operationsPerforms other duties as CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Indoor and outdoor MPS-issued vehicle to conduct exposure to fumes dust and heat and cold or adverse weather stand and walk for extended periods; stoop kneel and crouch to pick up or move objectsability to perform physical labor for sustained periods of time;physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 poundsAdditional Knowledge: Industrial safety practices and building health and safety standards.
