Role: Copywriter (Social)
Location: Toronto ON - Remote
About the role:
We are partnering with one of the worlds most iconic CPG companies to drive creative excellence in brand storytelling and marketing communications. As a Social Media Copywriter you will report to the Creative Director and collaborate closely with brand marketers art directors social media managers/strategists and content creators to generate compelling content that amplifies brand presence across social channels.
You will leverage your skills as a strong conceptual thinker and a skilled writer to create engaging copy tailored for social media platforms. Utilizing GenAI tools youll streamline workflows enhance creative ideation and refine messaging. If youre a detail-oriented storyteller who thrives in a dynamic environment we want to hear from you!
What you will be doing:
- Craft original and captivating social media copy.
- Research target audiences and competitor products to tailor impactful content.
- Develop creative content that enhances brand identity and drives engagement.
- Transform project briefs into strategic social media content aligning with each projects goals.
- Adapt content for various social platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
- Ensure consistency with brand voice and messaging strategy.
- Collaborate with designers art directors social media managers/strategists and content creators from concept to execution.
- Present creative concepts effectively to clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in social media technology and platforms.
- Collaboratively brainstorm visual and copy ideas with team members.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in social media messaging.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 3 years of copywriting experience focused on social media in advertising marketing or a creative agency.
- Ability to craft persuasive action-oriented messaging for social platforms.
- Strong command of grammar style and brand tone maintenance.
- Proven track record in developing standout immaculate copy.
- Capacity to strategize and plan effective social media content.
- Collaborative team member adept at building stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive under pressure.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills with designers strategists and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with the latest social media trends and technologies.
- At the time of this posting the base salary for this position may range from $80750.00 to $90250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors including location business needs level of responsibility experience and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVERs total compensation package.
