As aSeniorFrontendSoftware Engineer at Diligentyoullbe hands-on in shaping the future of our platform by designing and delivering secure scalable and high-performingweb applications andserverless microservices using TypeScript on meaningfully to our mission of making governance effortless for our customers working in a team that owns itsapplication andservices end to endfrom architecture and implementation tomonitoringand continuous improvement.
In this roleyoulllead by example owning products end-to-end from development to deployment and monitoring driving architectural discussions and mentoring others across the a key voice in evolving our engineering practices and will actively champion the use of AI-powered tools to streamline development improve quality and boost team productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the frontend from UImockupsto Figma designs evaluating feasibility complexity and implementation impact foroptimaluser experience.
- Own and deliver well-defined frontend stories independently with a strong understanding of architecture frameworks and tools.
- Drive code quality through reviews testing and service stability.
- Coach and mentor peers on frontend patterns best practices and AI-augmented development; foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product Security DevOps and other teams to align on features deployment compliance and security.
- Maintain Agile development flow and drive iterative improvements.
- Advise on AI use (model concepts prompt patterns ethical/privacy considerations) embed monitoring and compliance checks and document residual risks.
- Use AI tools to accelerate frontend development (componentcreation debugging tests research) whilevalidatingoutputs.
- Understand core LLM concepts (tokens context length hallucinations) andidentifysafe vs. unsafe use cases.
- Explore emerging frontend frameworks libraries and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and maintainability.
Required Experience/Skills
- 57 years in professional software engineering delivering secure scalable frontend applications in agile environments.
- Strong frontend skills: React TypeScript responsive/accessibile components testing frameworks (Jest React Testing Library) and component libraries (e.g. Material-UI Chakra UI).
- Skilled in AI-assisted development prompt engineering evaluating outputs responsibly (bias ethics cost) and embedding AI safely.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs authentication patterns and frontend-backend integration.
- Drives frontend security best practices and monitors for risks including AI-assisted suggestions.
- Familiar with frontend deployment CI/CD pipelines containerization (Docker) and basic AWS services.
- Strong collaboration communication and documentation skills; works closely with UX/UI designers and technical teams.
- Growth mindset: willing to tackle complex challenges and adopt new technologies.
- Bonus: Knowledge of RAG AWS Bedrock or database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Education: Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
