Job Description
An established Mechanical Contractor with over 15 years experience delivering projects across the Commercial Hospitality and Residential sectors is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team.
The company specialises in all aspects of mechanical installations including heating plumbing air conditioning ventilation and BMS systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
Conducting design checks and calculations for heat losses/gains pipe and duct sizing pumps and fans.
Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Producing and updating layouts schematics and other design documentation.
Supporting Revit/CAD technicians with coordination to ensure smooth system integration.
Assisting Contracts Managers with resolving design-related issues during construction.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Building Services or Architectural Engineering (desirable).
Minimum of 3 years experience within building services design from either a consultancy or contractor background (essential).
Proficient in MEP Revit/CAD (essential).
Personal Attributes
Reliable motivated and able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Additional Requirement
Candidates must be willing to take the UKVI IELTS test as part of the application process.
