Location: Kissimmee FL 34741
Shift: 10-hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiology Tech to join our team in the Cath/EP this role you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases as well as cardiac arrhythmias. You will play a vital role in procedures involving PTCA stent placement intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement and EP device implantation and ablations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist during electrophysiology and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized EP and Cath Lab equipment.
- Monitor patient status and provide critical support to the clinical team during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments and work area.
- Support quality control and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular technology or related program.
- A minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience is required.
- Candidates without acute care experience may be considered but it is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EP devices and ablation techniques is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Must hold at least one of the following credentials:
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
