Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and are responsible for ensuring adherence to patient safety protocols. You will serve as the first line of interface with patients and healthcare providers playing a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare personnel.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment properly.
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Assist in training and guiding radiologic technology students as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications/Licensure:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT (REQUIRED)
- Florida State Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be obtained within 30 days of start date
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Experience:
- New Graduates Accepted (Must have passed ARRT and state boards)
