Position: Akumina CMS with SharePoint Lead

Location: Charlotte NC - Onsite Preferred

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead to spearhead the design development and delivery of enterprise-grade intranet solutions using Akumina CMS integrated with Microsoft SharePoint Online. This role will lead a cross-functional team to create engaging digital workplace experiences that enhance employee productivity and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture design and implementation of Akumina-based intranet portals on SharePoint Online.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable digital workplace solutions.

Customize Akumina widgets templates and workflows to meet business needs.

Oversee governance content strategy and user experience for the intranet platform.

Mentor and guide junior developers and content managers.

Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams OneDrive Outlook Power Platform).

Monitor performance analytics and user engagement to drive continuous improvement.

Manage project timelines budgets and vendor relationships (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience:

6 years of experience with SharePoint Online (modern sites SPFx permissions metadata).

3 years of hands-on experience with Akumina CMS (AppManager SiteDeployer InterChange).

Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and digital workplace trends.

Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and REST APIs.

Experience with Power Automate Power Apps and Azure AD integration.

Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Akumina certification or experience with enterprise-scale Akumina deployments.

Experience in agile project management and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD for SharePoint).

Familiarity with multilingual content delivery and personalization strategies.
