Job Summary
- Provide assistance as needed with medication (per state regulations) bathing grooming dressing escort service and other activities of daily living.
- Upon direction of the Director of Memory Care coordinate and conduct training of new staff members.
- Meet on a regular basis with the Director of Memory Care to review resident care issues.
- Serve as the staff and family resource when the director is unavailable or away from the building.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents.
- Document daily log of assistance.
- Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
- Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
- Respect residents confidentiality.
Qualifications :
Level of Formal Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Years of Experience: 1 years of experience preferred
Type of Experience: Senior care or related field
Special Certifications: May require a CNA or CHHA licensure or other state required training
Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak read write and communicate with supervisors coworkers residents and applicable third parties.
Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills
Skills and Ability:
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely.
